The Warring States Period of Ancient China The Warring States time frame in Ancient Chinese historywhich followed the period known as Spring and Autumn (770-476 B.C.) during the ​Chou (Zhou) Dynastyran from around 475-221 B.C. It was a time of viciousness and confusion during which the logician Sun-Tzu is said to have lived and culture to have prospered. Seven States of China There were around seven conditions of China during the Warring States time frame, including Yen, which was not one of the battling states, and 6 that were: ChIChuChinWeiHanChao Two of these states, the Chin and Chu, came to command, and in 223, the Chin vanquished the Chu, building up the main bound together Chinese state two years after the fact. Throughout the Spring and Autumn period, which went before the Warring States, fighting was primitive and dependent on the war chariot. During the Warring Period, military crusades were coordinated by the states who fitted out their fighters with singular weapons.
